Foamcore, Inc., manufacturer of Therm-Max™, is currently the only licensed manufacturer and distributor of AEROBLACK®. Located near Rochester, New York, Foamcore is focused on the commercialization of AEROBLACK® and other advanced materials.

The creation of Therm-Max™ is the result of years of scientific research and development into unique materials called Aerogels. Aerogels were first discovered and produced as early as 1920. They have many remarkable properties, perhaps the most outstanding of which is their thermal insulation property.

However, until the recent development of AEROBLACK®, Aerogels have been extremely expensive to produce limiting their application. Using a unique manufacturing process and a patented material formulation, AEROBLACK® can now be commercially produced.
